These self-paced programs are designed to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to learn more about how to properly fuel yourself. Read more about the programs I have to offer below!

Simple Start Program

This program is for anyone who has been struggling with meal planning, grocery shopping, or figuring out how to fuel on a busy schedule. You don't need to be an athlete to benefit from this program! This is the shortest and lowest cost program offered by Fueling Forward, and includes:

  • 4 weeks of  5-day menu plans that include breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for each day

  • A complete grocery list that includes all of your needs for that week's menu plan plus space to write in your own additions

  • New, fun and simple recipes to keep things exciting using ingredients and cookware you already have. No master chef skills required!

  • Fueling tips and tricks

  • A Daily Accountability challenge that changes each week to help you build healthy, sustainable habits

Fueling Forward will be releasing a new, in depth 3-month program at the end of the year. This program will walk you through how to make sustainable, simple changes to your fueling so you're ready to tackle a big training block and reach your goals. Running Start Program

This comprehensive program will be a longer, more in-depth course that will help you learn the in's and out's of fueling as an athlete. We'll start by taking a look at your relationship with food, progress to how to build your plate, discuss fueling before, during, and after training, move to race-day fueling, and finally look at how fueling changes throughout training cycles. This 3-month course will include:

  • Instructional videos, worksheets, and other resources

  • A fueling plan template that you will use to build your plan

  • 2 live Q&A sessions with Maddie per month

  • Exclusive discount codes to products and services

Who Are These Programs For?

Running Start: This program is geared towards athletes who are heading into a big training block and are looking to find an approach to fueling that will allow them to stay healthy, train consistently, and reach their race day goals. Those who would benefit include:

  • Athletes heading into a big racing season such as cross country or track

  • Anyone building up for a marathon, Ironman, or other big race

  • Athletes returning from injury

Simple Start: This program was created for anyone looking for a quick, immediate way to improve their approach to nutrition. This shorter program is mostly focused around weekly menu planning, new recipes, and building sustainable, healthy habits. People who would benefit include:

  • Parents of athletes

  • Anyone with limited cooking skills looking to expand their horizons

  • Busy individuals, couples, or families

What Topics Do We Cover?

Simple Start: This program covers more surface level topics of basic nutrition. Topics covered include:

  • Basic plate building method

  • How to determine portion sizes and ratio of certain foods on your plate

  • How to build healthy habits such as drinking more water, eating more veggie, etc.

  • Effective meal planning and grocery shopping

Running Start: This program covers more in-depth topics of fueling for performance. Topics covered include:

  • Addressing your relationship with and misconceptions around food

  • How to build your plate based on your training day

  • Fueling before, during, and after training

  • How and when to use sports nutrition products

  • Fueling for race day, including travel, morning vs. night races, etc.
